UCP-SARNET invites your contribution to promote all forms of collaboration between university faculty, students and community organizations, especially in the area of social action research. We offer our platform for the exchange of visions, ideas and practical solutions related to such collaboration. We especially welcome:
- Members of university faculty who together with their students have been involved in community programs in the form of research projects, especially participatory social action research.
- Instructors who in the organization of their courses facilitate connections between their students and community organizations.
- University staff in charge of University-Community Partnership programs.
- Students, faculty or community professionals who have a vision of effective collaboration between university and community could look like.
- Students who have had interesting experiences in working or volunteering for community organizations.
- Community leaders who seek the involvement of university faculty and students in their communities.
- Community professionals who could share interesting examples of collaboration with a university.
You may choose to collaborate with us in one or all of the following roles (please read FAQ for information on how to proceed depending on your choice):
- As a VISITOR you are free to browse the platform as you would any other website.
- As a COMENTATOR you can make comments about the material posted on the platform, participate in discussion forums, and use the materials posted on the platform as instructional resources.
- As an EDITOR (a member of our International Editorial Team), you can post and publish new materials on the platform, as well as initiate work on new projects. If you are a student, you may receive a status of STUDENT EDITOR (please click here for detailed information.)
By becoming a part of this network and sharing your community experience, you may inspire others to get involved in community programs, contribute to the quality of instruction on community issues, and inspire students to take leadership roles in their respective communities on the local and the global level!
